Third Group Exhibition 2018

NZAFA Autumn Exhibition

After a little creative break middle of 2017 until 2018 I applied again for an art exhibition in Wellington at the NZAFA and was super thrilled when one of my paintings got elected again. This time my beloved jellyfish which drew lots of peoples' attention and kept me engaged in conversations throughout the whole openening night.

Second Group Exhibition 2017

NZAFA Winter Exhibition

Exciting news are such for an artist when she receives the confirmation that two of her paintings have been selected for a big group exhibition out of 700 entries. 🙂 The joy I was feeling to attend a big art exhibition in Wellington was comparable to a child that finally sees the Christmas tree and the presents below. I hope that feeling never goes away with time.
The photo was taken for personal memory purposes with something along the lines like: "Hey love, can you please take a quick photo of me in front of my paintings? But make sure no one is around." 😀  You can see it was very cold that year in New Zealand. Even inside I am still in my warm fluffy jacket.

My first group exhibition
December 2016

Christmas Exhibition Kiwiarthouse Gallery

This was my first art exhibition in Wellington together with the gallery that was showing my work at the time. I have to admit, I was super nervous and didn´t really know what to expect. My boyfriend, brother and some close friends supported me by showing up (I think that made me even more nervous though!). I remember that my boyfriend brought me a big flower boquet to celebrate my first Exhibition. I blushed to the roots of my hair. Super sweet and so attention drawing at the same time. The event went well. It was super interesting to meet all the other artists and see their works. And I discovered that networking is a huge part of being an artist 🙂
